Rakaya is a newly qualified litigation associate who joined the Bermuda Bar in July 2024. She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Buckingham and completed her LPC at the University of Law. Throughout her academic journey, Rakaya honed her legal skills through extensive internships, gaining valuable insights from various leading onshore firms in Bermuda.
Rakaya regularly appears as sole counsel in the Supreme Court and the Magistrates’ Court across all areas of law, including landlord and tenant, employment, human rights and discrimination, commercial and criminal.
Rakaya has always had a strong commitment to community service and charitable work that reflect her dedication to her faith and the core principles of justice and advocacy.
