Having practiced at Trott & Duncan since 2014, Tina has been instrumental in supporting and growing the Private Client and Estates practice area. As a born Bermudian, Tina feels a close connection to Trott & Duncan’s local clientele and prides herself on the personal service she offers clients.
After studying law at Kent University in the UK, Tina originally had aspirations of specialising in Matrimonial law and spent a great deal of time training under the Matrimonial attorney at Trott and Duncan. However, after being called to the bar, Perry Trott, Director and Founding Partner at Trott & Duncan, offered her a position to help build the Private Client and Estate area of the practice, a challenge she gladly accepted as this is a niche market on the island.
Tina has a background in Human Resources has enhanced her ability to empathise and connect with clients, combined with her keen, analytical mind and in-depth knowledge of the law pertaining to her respective practice areas make her a formidable lawyer and a valuable asset to the firm.
Tina currently focuses on Estate Planning including drafting of Estate documents, applications for probate in Bermuda and the administration of local estates. Her day-to-day responsibilities at the firm also touch on property, employment and immigration law.

It is rewarding to be able to listen to my clients, being able to connect with them and assist them in achieving their goals. It is especially important when dealing with clients that are experiencing a recent bereavement to be sensitive to what they are going through and to be able to provide them with the reassurance that they can rely on me to effectively handle the management of their matters with their best interests at heart.
